It’s a car? It’s a bicycle? It’s definitely cute! Take a look at the PodRide.

Take a look at the PodRide.
The PodRide might seem like a tiny cute car, but looks can be deceiving. It is actually a four-wheeled electric bicycle disguised as a vehicle – the invention of Swedish engineer Mikael Kjellman.
The bicycle-car has an enclosed cloth shell, making it pass as a fully-fledged car – the wheels surely help too. The shell flips forward allowing the rider to get in without the need for a door.
PodRide only weighs 70 kilograms, and is 1.8 meters long and 1.4 meters high, making it smaller than the teeny tiny Smart automobile.

A 250W electricity generator allows a 60km journey, and drivers need to use the handlebar to steer the direction of the vehicle as it makes its way down the road with a speed of 24 kilometers per hour.
Mikael said the harsh winter in Sweden stopped him from riding his bike to work, so he designed the bicycle-car to protect him from the wind and snow.
