Children have the right to form their own views and to express them freely through the media as enshrined in Articles 12 and 14 of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. 

Sunday is the International Children’s Day of Broadcasting. It is a day set aside for broadcasters to include children in their operations as presenters, anchorpersons, reporters and newscasters. Let us applaud our children this weekend.
