Ballet dancers transform Moscow metro station for one night

Metro stations are often places of hustle and bustle with people just trying to get to their destination as quickly as possible, but at Dostoyevskaya metro station in Moscow, Russia, it was transformed into a place for art at least for one night.

Moscow Ballet Theater artists performed a scene from the Cafe Idiot play based on the novel by Russian writer Fyodor Dostoevsky (1821-1881) at the station on Saturday March 11, 2017.

It was part of the Metro Night event, a cultural and educational project which takes place several times a year at night in Moscow's subway bringing high art to the masses.
