There have been rumours about their romantic status for some time.
But now it seems that Rio Ferdinand 's close friendship with TOWIE's Kate Wright has finally progressed into romance, this week - after he was pictured leaving her home.
Photographs of the ex-footballer, 38, show him leaving the blonde beauty's property in Brentwood, Essex, on Thursday morning after spending the previous night.
She then followed suit by emerging just a few minutes later.
If true, the romance comes after the tragic death of Rio's wife Rebecca, who died in May 2015 from breast cancer.
Ex-Manchester United defender Rio met “soulmate” Rebecca when he was 21.
They dated for several years before she gave birth to their first son in 2006.
Their second lad followed in 2009 and the couple married the same year. Their third child, a daughter, was born in 2011.
Three years later Rio, who was capped 81 times for England, ended his 12-year career at Manchester United and transferred to QPR.
The family settled in the London home where Rio is still based.
QUESTION:After losing a spouse, how long do you think one would take before getting involved with someone else? Is there even any such thing as getting over the death of a spouse or do people just learn to move on? How can those grieving get over or move on after the death of a spouse?
