The Burjeel Hospital, Abu Dhabi, said Monday that the world's "biggest" woman (weighing 500 kilograms) from Egypt has managed to lose 65 pounds since she was treated at the hospital, The official press agency of the United Arab Emirates, WAM, reported.

The hospital said that the world's most obese woman, Iman Abd al-Ati of Egypt, has been "gradually recovered" and has been able to lose 65 kilos since she entered the hospital as a Incoming patient.

The hospital added during the eighty days of treatment, the Egyptian woman can now sit in a wheelchair and move her arms.

Iman, 36, arrived at the Bureej hospital in Abu Dhabi on May 4 to complete his treatment journey that began in Mumbai, India.

Before the operation, Abd al-Ati was lying down and his weight was 500 kilograms, according to media reports.

She suffered from a "disturbance of the glands and elephantiasis disease" which causes the accumulation of enormous amounts of water in the body, according to a report from the Dubai news channel, Al Arabiya.
