U.S. businesses have added 15.6 million jobs since President Obama became president.

President Obama

When President Obama took office, the economy was losing 800,000 jobs per month. Today, we are in the midst of the longest streak of job growth on record. U.S. businesses have added 15.6 million jobs since early 2010. The unemployment rate has been cut by more than half from its peak. Rising home prices have brought millions of homeowners back above water. We’re less reliant on foreign oil than we have been in nearly three decades. We’ve cut our budget deficit by two-thirds as a share of the economy. Last year, the poverty rate fell by more than any year since 1968, and median household income rose at the fastest rate on record, with the typical family earning an additional $2,800.
That’s a record of progress.

  1. Might want to look up the report by Lawrence Katz and Alan Krueger. Krueger was Obama's top economist until 2013. The gist is that 94% of the jobs were not full time employment, but part time and contract work. Most without any benefits.

  2. According to the US government Bureau Of Labor Statistics
In January of 2009 there were 142.152 million people working. Today there are 152.085 million. Seems like your 15.6 million is about 5.6 million higher than what the US government says.
Also, the population was 305.52 million in Jan. '09, today it's 323.64 million. A growth of 18.12 million.
In January of 2009, 32 million were on food stamps. Today there are 43,493,667.
Our population grew 18 million and 11.5 million of them are on food stamps.
The US per capita income in 2008 was 30,371. For 2005 it was $29,979 . (Numbers for 2016 will not be released until Sept. 2017) http://www.deptofnumbers.com/income/us/

ere is the problem with the internet. It allows people to easily smoke out the B people like you are spewing.

  3. Your article is full of half-truths and outright lies. First of all the economy was never losing 800,000 jobs a month. Even if 15 million jobs were created, that's only 162,500 per month which is pathetic. Regardless, you leave out the fact that there are tens of millions more people unemployed and have stopped looking for work which is the real reason why the unemployment rate has dropped. Also, the jobs that were created were mostly part-time jobs and taken by illegals. And then finally, there are a record number of people on welfare today. Your article is pure trash and lies like this is partly why Trump won.
