Photographer finds art and beauty in window frost

Spring may be on the way, but northern China will still have to wait a few more weeks for colorful flowers to fully bloom. However, frosty conditions mean people can still enjoy another form of flower.
Window frost is commonly seen in north China in winter, but photographer Wang Yuhui in Heihe, China’s northern border city in Heilongjiang Province, has turned icy panes of glass into works of art.
In natural light and shades, the crystal-like frost forms different patterns on windows, such as feathers, bubbles and flowers.
These poetic pictures have helped photographer Wang Yuhui win a number of national awards over the past few years.
